Grace Lorraine Myers, 92 of Nevada, Iowa died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Rolling Green Village in Nevada, Iowa. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Memorial Chapel (607 28th St., Ames, IA 50010), with a time of fellowship to follow.

Grace was born April 28, 1925 to Clifford Myers and Alma (Ritland) Myers. A lifelong resident of Story County, a woman of many hats. Mother, Sister, Aunt, Daughter, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Nurse and Friend. She communed with two Story County Churches for many years, the Northminster Presbyterian Church of Ames, and the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Nevada.

Survivors include her adopted son; Rev. Donald E. Bennett and his wife Glenda (Dantzler), brother; Gerald Myers and his wife Helen (Stewart), sister; Maxine Switzer (Myers), several grandchildren, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews as well. She was significant in the raising of Loren Wayne Bennett and Jason (Dann) Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother; Ronald Myers, sister; Ethel Franklin, and her special uncle Virgil E. Myers.

Memorial contributions can be made in Grace's name to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa (1416 South Duff Ave., Ames, IA 50010).
