Elaine Valentine Brown passed away on January 12, 2018 at the age of 92. She was born on February 17, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Nephi Merrell Valentine and Hilda Mason. Elaine was the second child of four children. After school, she worked in a bank and continued to work until her first child was born. Elaine met her husband on a blind date. They were married on April 7, 1948. When Elaine was able she participated and served in church activities.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Merrill Brown, Dale Valentine (brother), Barbara (Babs) Valentine (sister), and David Alan Anderegg (grandson).

Elaine is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Kaye and Sue Valentine, her sister-in-law Sheronne Valentine, her daughter and son-in-law Annette and James Anderegg, her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Lies Brown, her daughter Jeanine Brown, her daughter and son-in-law Diane and Kim Anglesey, her son and daughter-in-law David and Cindy Brown, as well as 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Her services will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 27, 2018.
