Pioneer Noble Passes.
John Noble, one of the best known and highly respected pioneers of the west part of Story county, died Tuesday, December 24, at his home in Bloomington, and his funeral was held at Ames Thursday. His age was sixty-four. His death was sudden from apoplexy. He had resided in Story county since coming from Indiana in 1869. He is survived by his wife, his son Warren, and daughters, Minnie and Cora of Ames, and his married daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Alberry of Nevada and Mrs. Cora Cory of South Dakota.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The article report John Noble has two daughters named Cora. This is incorrect. Minnie and Clara remained at home at that time and Cora was married to Bert Rains Cory.
