Mrs. Laycock, mother of J. K. Laycock and Mr. Ethan Dawson of north of town, died Saturday evening at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. B. Myer at Marshalltown, after a short illness. Funeral services were held at Marshalltown Monday afternoon. The remains were taken to Chenoa, Ill. and laid to rest in Payne's cemetery.
