Gas Killed Canady

Another Story county home which is mourning the death of a loved one in France is that of William Canady of Gilbert, whose grandson, Otis Canady died in France on September 9 after having been gassed on September 5. Canady was a member of the signal corps and had been in the service since August of 1917. Canady is well known in the northeast part of this county.
