Mrs. A. V. Graves leaves this evening for Freeport, Illinois, to attend the the funeral of her uncle, Mr. P. E. Reedy. She will on the way join a considerable party of her relatives from westward point bound on the same errand.

From Nevada Representative February 15, 1909

Mrs. A. V. Graves returned Friday from attending the funeral of her uncle at Freeport, Illinois. She had tarried a few days to assist the widow. During this period her father, Mr. Reedy, occupied her place here in the store with Mr. Graves, and then left for his home in So. Dak. a few hours after her arrival home.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. A. V. Graves" was Mary C. (Reedy) Graves, daughter of James Reedy and Mary Kane. She was the wife of Alva Vincent Graves. She and her husband operated a jewelry store in Nevada, Iowa for several years. The deceased, Patrick J. Reedy, was the brother of James Reedy.
