Sorry Accident Near Huxley

The year-and-a-half old babe of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Strom who life near Huxley, was drowned Saturday in a small tub in the home yard. The tub contained but eight inches of water, but, being narrow it permitted the child no chance for escape. He had been at play with the other children in the yard and the mother busy with her wok had frequently glanced at the group to see that all was right. Finally she missed the tot and appalling discovery was made. The body was yet warm, but life could not be restored. The funeral was held at the Lincoln church at Huxley Monday afternoon.
