NEVADA, IA. - Services for Bernita I. Jacobson, 47, of Nevada will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Nevada United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in the Roland Cemetery. Miss Jacobson died of a heart ailment Sunday at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Miss Jacobson was born in Milford and lived in the Nevada area for several years. She was a retired social worker for the state of Iowa and was a veteran of the Air Force.

Survivors include her mother, Irene Jacobson of Nevada; a sister, Barbara Toot of Nevada; and two brothers, Robert of Story City and William of Cedar Rapids.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the church, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund in her name at the Nevada Community Schools. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Tues 20 Aug 1991.
