DR. J. J. CRAIG PASSED TO HIS REWARD

John James Craig was born at North Salem, Ind., Nov. 23, 1849. He with his parents moved to Iowa when he was 16 years of age. He was united in marriage to Mary L. Roush at Minburn, Iowa, July 4th, 1876. Unto this union five children were born. The oldest, Willie, died in infancy. The others were present at the time of his death.

He with his companion resided in Minburn until 1890 when they movetd to Ayrshire, Iowa, where he spent the best years of his life practicing medicine. He has lived in Roland the past four years.

He is survived by his wife and four children, Charley Eugene, Mrs. C. H. Pendlebury, Mrs. W. A. Hines and Katherine and three grandchildren, Edgar and Harley Pendlebury and Kenneth Hines.

He died at his home in Roland May 24, 1919, and burial took place at Minburn last Tuesday.
