Everything that could be done in the way of medical aid was administered to him but death called him as we have reason to hope to a better home. Rev. J. A. Beich of St. Paul called on him nearly every day while at the hospital and Rev. Sandven also had the opportunity to see him shortly before he died.

The remains were brought here Monday and taken to the home of his father here. Those who accompanied.the remains were his wife, Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Rasmussen, George Ford of Chicago and A. Johnson of Sioux City.

Funeral services were held at Salems church last Tuesday at 2 o'clock. Interment took place in the Roland cemetery. Rev. Sandven officiated. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, father and mother, his three brothers R. and B. A. and L. R. Rasmussen and his two sister, Mrs. R. Rierson and Mrs. John Danielson.
