Obituary
Harley D. Dearth, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Dearth, died at the home of his parents on Thursday, Jan. 22, near Gilbert. The deceased had been in poor health for several years and on Friday before his death was taken sick and very rapidly grew worse until the end came. He was born in Buena Vista Co., Iowa, May 20, 1899.
The funeral occurred Sunday afternoon, only a committal service being read by Rev. Wissler of Gilbert, on account of influenza cases in the community. Interment was made in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Dearth have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement
