SUDDEN DEATH OF MRS. E. L. WOOD

NEVADA WOMAN PASSED AWAY IN ROCHESTER, MINN. HOSPITAL

Mrs. E. L. Wood of 324 J avenue died in a hospital at Rochester, Minn., Tuesday night about 8:30 according to word reaching Nevada.

Mr. and Mrs. Wood, both in impaired health, had gone to Rochester last week, Mr. Wood for a major surgical operation and Mrs. Wood expecting to enter the Mayo clinic.

She entered the clinic the latter part of the week and it developed an operation was necessary. As exploratory operation was performed, after which she continued to fail until she died last evening.

B. M. Soper, local man, who had been called to Rochester early yesterday morning, was present and took charge of matters, notifying local people of the death.

F. O. Bishop, local mortician, drove to Rochester last night and will return this afternoon with the body, while Mr. Wood, his operation deferred, will accompany Mr. Soper back to Nevada.

No arrangements have been made for the funeral and will not be until Mr. Wood and the body have arrived in Nevada.

Mrs. Wood, whose maiden name was Ida Stultz, was a daughter of a pioneer Milford township family. She leaves besides her husband, one brother, George Stultz of near Winterset. There is also one sister, Mrs. Orrin Shaw, whose home is near Sacramento, Calif.
