Deacon H. F. Kingsbury, died January 5th at the hone of his daughter, Mrs. N. A. Rainbolt, at Norfolk, Nebraska. He came to Ames in the spring of 1865, and was the first railroad agent, express agent, and first postmaster of the then new town, and continued for many years closely identified with the history of Ames.
