From Nevada Representative February 20, 1884

Mrs. J. M. Mehan, died at Creston Monday morning. Her funeral took place at Marshalltown yesterday. This news will be received with much sadness by the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Mehan, in Nevada and vicinity.
