Obituary.

Died, February 22d 1884, in this city Mrs. Dassie A. Mark. The deceased was born in Marion county, Indiana, and at the time of her death was 28 years of age. She was married in Nevada Sept. 22d, 1877, to F. L. Mark and soon after removed with her husband to his farm in Richland township. For the last year or two her health has been gradually failing, and almost a month ago, utterly prostrate, she was brought to the home of parents, W. S. and Julia Vincent. It was hoped that the change might be beneficial, but the vest medical skill and the tenderest care could not win her back to health nor stay the coming of the death angel. She was a most estimable woman, and in the various relations of daughter, sister, wife and neighbor, won the affection and esteem of all. Her funeral services at the Vincent House were attended by a large gathering of sympathizing friends. The remains, as requested by the deceased, were taken to the cemetery at Johnson's Grove for interment; where in the presence of old friends and neighbors, the burial service of the Methodist Church was read by Rev. Mr. Rogers, and all that was mortal of the departed loved one was consigned to the keeping of Mother Earth. The bereaved relatives have the prayers of the community that they may be comforted according to their need.
