Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Doris was born September 6, 1920 in Adaza, Iowa to Clayton Guy and Minnie Clara (West) Kinyon. Doris graduated from Gilbert High School in 1938. She worked at R H Donnelly in Nevada retiring in 1985. Doris enjoyed family and friends, gardening, house plants, traveling, cooking and baking. She also enjoyed knitting and sewing, even making her own clothes. Doris was active in Donnelly’s retirees club and Top O’ Hollow neighbors. She loved animals especially cats.

Doris L. Kinyon, 94, of Ames died July 24, 2015 at Bethany Manor in Story City. .

Doris is survived by many Kinyon and West 1st and 2nd cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
