Donald Darwin Duncan was born September 20, 1951 to Jerry and Neola (Genzler) Duncan in Des Moines, Iowa. Donald served in the United States Air Force from January 14, 1971 to October 15, 1976. He married Dew Nguyen. Donald worked as a mechanical engineer for Altratec Plastics and was a member of the Huxley Volunteer Fire Department, the Huxley Historical Society and the Slater American Legion Post #260.

Donald passed away at 63 years of age on May 23, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Donald is survived by his wife, Dew Duncan, of Huxley; his siblings, Jerry Duncan, of California, Judy (Robert) Nicholson, of Mingo, James (Betty) Duncan, of Texas, Ed (Tracy) Duncan, of California, Sindy Twedt, of Oklahoma and Sandy Duncan, of California; and his step-son, Hau Truong.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will be in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.
