Wednesday July 13, 1983Mrs. Violet V. Loebach, 78, of 1027 Grand Ave., Story City, Iowa, a former La Salle resident, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Ames, Iowa, after a five-day illness.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in grace United Methodist Church by the Rev. Gary L. Curl. Burial will be in Troy Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Gearhart Funeral Home, La Salle, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Loebach was born in Triumph. She married George H Loebach in Chicago. He died in 1976.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and lived at 1042 Second St. in La Salle until moving to Iowa a year ago.
She was a retired employee of the Kaskaskia.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Gwen) Campbell of Neenah, Wis., Mrs. William (Sandy) Hancock of Peru and Mrs. Wayne (Nancy) Videgar of Story City, Iowa, with whom she lived; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. William (Queenie) Bankes of Troy Grove and Mrs. Edward (Mary) Sichocka of Peru.
