Services Saturday for Samuel Woods

Samuel F. Woods, 74, 427 Walnut Ave. died Feb. 26 at Mary Greeley Hospital.

Services are Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from Stevens Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Simmons of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial is in the Sheldahl Cemetery, Sheldahl.

Mr. Woods was born June 27, 1901 in White Oak. He and Blanche Burkey were married Nov. 15, 1922 in Des Moines. A graduate of Cambridge High School, Mr. Woods moved to Ames in 1959. He was employed by the Hach Chemical Co. until he retired in 1966. Mr. Woods was a member of First United Methodist Chruch and the Masonic Lodge in Cambridge.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Matters, 2917 Arbor Ave., and Mrs. Jean Spencer, Richfield, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Anna Ritland, Oxnard, Calif. and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Stevens Memorial Chapel Friday afternoon until time of service.
