Jensen Funeral Rites Tomorrow

Funeral services for Martin Jensen, 82, who died yesterday at 2 a.m. in the Story City Memorial Hospital, will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. for the Grace E.U.B. Church in Story City, with the Rev. Carryl Zietlow officiating.

Born in Eikener-Horenes, Denmark, Jensen came to Story City from Denmark at the age of 18. He had lived there working as a brick and stone mason in the area from 1900 until his retirement five years ago.

Surviving are his wife, Amanda; two sons, Elmer and Irvin, both of Story City; one daughter, Mrs. Mickey Hockenberry, Des Moines; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Sena Johnson, Story City and Mrs. Christine Kopf, Ames.

The body ill lie in state at Larson Funeral Home in Story City. The casket will be open at the church from noon to 2 p.m. tomorrow and closed during and after the services.

Burial will be in Story City Municipal Cemetery.
