MRS. SEVERIE HILL

Funeral services for Mrs. Severie Hill were held April 4, from Bethany Manor Chapel, Story City, with the Rev. Pernie Pederson officiating, assisted by Chaplain M. C. Hagedorn.

Pallbearers were Casper Torkelson, 2105 Burnett Ave.; Stanley Collins, Mason City; Harris Hill, Andy Nelson, and Wallace Gandrup. Burial was in Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Hill died April 1 at the Story City Memorial Hospital.

Born April 17, 1885, southeast of Story City, she was baptized and confirmed in Bergen Lutheran Church, Roland. She moved to Story City with her family in 1901 and lived in her parents home until 1926. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she was employed for ten years.

In 1936 she married Ingwald J. Hill of Roland and lived northeast of Roland until 1942. Then they moved to Story City where they became members of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Hill became a resident of Bethany Manor in 1964.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1962, three sisters, four brothers and a step-son.
