Clarence Grierson Dies This Morning
Clarence D. Grierson, 1234 Third street, died at 3:45 this morning at his home after being in failing health the past two months. Mr. Grierson has been a Story county resident the last 40 years and has lived in Nevada since 1940.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Ryan Funeral home with the Rev. A. T. Washington officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Memorial cemetery south of Ames.
Until time of services the body will rest at the Ryan Funeral Home.
Left to survive are his wife, Mrs. Nellie Grierson; three daughters, Erma, Mrs. Forrest Hunt of Seattle, Wash., Thelma, Mrs. Don McDaniel and Lois, Mrs. Wesley McDaniel, both of Nevada; two brothers, Homer of Urbana, Ill., and Chet of Rockwell City; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Iungerlich and Mrs. Bertha Kopf, both of Artesin, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
