Mable Fern White
March 22, 1902-Jan. 7, 1991

Mable Fern White, 88, of Nevada died of pneumonia Monday at Story County Hospital in Nevada.

She was born March 27, 1902 in Ironton, Ohio, to James and Cathryn (Sloan) Told. She married Linville White Aug. 7, 1923, in Webb City, Mo. She taught school in Missouri and, with her husband, owned White's Jewelry in Nevada.

Survivors include one son, two daughters, wight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother.

Visitation will be today, Thursday, Jan. 10, form noon to 9 p.m. at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada. Services will be held Friday, Jan. 11, at 10:30 a.m. at Chet Ryan Mortuary, with the Rev. Brad Braley officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.
