Floyd Taylor
May 19, 1920 to Oct. 9, 1990

Floyd "Bud" Taylor, 70, of Nevada died at his home from complications of diabetes.

He was born in Fairmont, Minn., to Clifford and Viola (Hayworth) Taylor and married Barbara Thomson on June 21, 1946 in Kansas City, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, one son, Rich of Nevada; two daughters, Charmi Payne and Rylo Barker, both of Nevada; five grandchildren, including two raised by he and his wife, Floyd "Bub" and Jeff Johnson, both of Nevada and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Oct. 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames. Graveside services will be Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. at Nevada Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the family and the family requests no flowers.
