DIRKSEN CHILD DEAD.

Passed Away Friday Afternoon at Home of Grandparents.

Little Howard Eugene Dirksen, age 1 year, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dirksen of Hampton, died Friday afternoon at o'clock at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Dirksen Sr., of whooping cough and other complications. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Seventhday Adventist church, Elder W. H. Clark officiating. The mother of the little fellow has been in a hospital for some time and he has been cared for by his grandparents. He is mourned by his parents, a little sister age 8, his grandparents, uncles, aunts and many other relatives.
