Illian services scheduled today

Services will be held this afternoon from the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Louis H. (Emma) Illian, 81, who died Sunday at Story County Hospital where she had been a patient for the past four weeks. Mrs. Illian had been in failing health for the past two years.

She was born March 10, 1863 in Black Hawk County and married Louis H. Illian Oct 15, 1902. She was an Ames resident for 14 years and a member of the EUB Church and Rebecca Lodge.

Mrs. Illian is survived by her husband, one daughter; Mrs. Frank Lounsberry, four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

The Rev. Frank P. Hladky will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
