Leland Redix died today
Leland J. Redix, 49, Nevada, died about 7:40 a.m. today at Story County Hospital after an illness of about six months.
Born at Connellsville, Mo., he had been a Nevada resident for 21 years.
Mr. Redix had been employed as a linotype operator with Carter Press in Ames for a number of years.
Mr. Redix was a member of the Nevada Methodist Church, and was a veteran of World War II, serving in England, France and Germany.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred; two sons, David Redix also of Nevada, and Richard, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Norman Warger, Ontario, N.Y.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Redix, Traer; a grandchild; two brothers, Leonard of Wnter, Wis., and Millard Redix of West Liberty, and a sister, Mrs. Virginia Lau.
Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, is in charge of arrangements.
