L. H. Illian died Friday

Louis H. Illian, 85, Nevada, died about 2:35 p.m. Friday [August 26, 1966] at the Oak Park Manor Nursing Home where he had been a patient about two months.

Born at Remsen, he had lived in Ames 14 years before moving to Nevada eight years ago. He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Illian was a member of the Evangelical United Lutheran Church, Ames.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Lounsberry, Nevada; four grandchildren and three brothers, Oscar Illian, Waterloo, Arthur of Tasco, Wash., and Charles, of Tracy, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma, who died in 1904, five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday from the Ryan Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank P. Hladkey officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
