HARRY EDWARD NEW

Harry Edward New, 91, of Nevada, died Wednesday, March 21, 1984, at Story County Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, arch 23, at the Ryan Funeral Home, Pastor John Chadwick of the Memorial Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Harry New was born to William E. and Flora (Merkland) New on April 17, 1893. He was educated in rural schools. His family moved to Story County, and farmed in Richland Township.

On June 14, 1919, he was married to Eunice Frances Conder. Eunice New died in February 1973.

Mr. New was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church and the Story County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include one son, Willis, and one sister, Mrs. D.T. Swanson, both of Nevada. In addition to his wife, he was preceded by one brother, Clarence.

Visitation will begin Thursday at the Ryan Funeral Home.
