Obituary

Richard Kimble was born in Ithica, Tompkins Co., N. Y. Jan. 12, 1835 and died at his home in Milford Township, Story Co., Iowa May 27, 1905. He moved with his parents to Blackbury, Ill. in 1858. He was united in marriage to Miss Ellen Robinson Nov. 25, 1858 by Rev. Rhufus Hayden. Three sons, Clarauan A., Ellory W. and George A. were born to them all of whom are living and share with their honored mother the pangs of this parting. The deceased moved with his family to Story Co. in 1868 and has been an honored and highly respected citizen and neighbor during all these years, when a young man but 18 years of age he yielded himself to the claims of the Christian life and united with the Baptist church.
