MRS FRANK WHITAKER

Mrs. Frank Whitaker, 66, wife of a well known farmer of southeast of Nevada, died Friday* at Iowa sanitarium, where she had been taken Thursday. She had not been feeling well for several days and was taken to the hospital Thursday for examination and possible operation.

Mrs. Whitaker was Ada May Bates, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elnathan Bates, one of the pioneer families of Nevada township and would have been 66 years old July 15.

She leaves besides her husband and sons Elmer and Claude, twin brothers Leland Bates of near Nevada and Eland Bates of near Napier.
