The Interment of Little Virgil Kimble
Funeral services for little Virgil Kimble were held at the home Tuesday afternoon after which interment was in the Nevada cemetery. The funeral sermon was preached by Dr. R. M. Shipman of Trinity Methodist church, Des Moines. Four little neighbor girls, Mable Hanson, Dorothy Day, Bertha Sorem and Dorothy Sowers served as pall bearers.
Virgil George, son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Kimble, was born March 16, 1923, and passed away June 15, 1924 at the age of 15 months. He was ill for three weeks with pneumonia and other complications. He was baptized on Easter Sunday at M. E. Church of Nevada. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents and two sisters, Vivian and Dorothea and one brother, Lowell. Grandparents in Omaha who were unable to be here because of illness and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
