IDA DAWSON

Ida D. Dawson, 78, of Newton, formerly of Nevada, died at her home Sunday afternoon May 16, 1982.

She was born May 29, 1904 in Madison County, Iowa the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Leach. She married Womer Dawson* in 1945 in Des Moines.

Mrs. Dawson operated the Circle Beauty Shop for many years. She mov3d to Winterset eleven years ago from Nevada, and from there to Newton two years ago.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Umberger; two grandchildren; son brother and six sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Reese Funeral Home, Newton. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nevada Cemetery.
