OPAL DAWSON

Opal Amanda Dawson, 71, of Sun Valley, Calif., died Tuesday, June 22, 1982 at St. Joseph Hospital, Burbank, Calif.

She was born August 24, 1916 in Roland, the daughter of Edward Ben and Emma Christian Erickson. She attended Milford School and graduated in 1927 from Roland High School. On April 16, 1942, she married Howard K. Dawson in Cambridge.

Mrs. Dawson was a a housewife, and was an active ember of the Sun Valley senior citizens group. She belonged to the Lutheran church.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth, of Sunland, Calif.; a brother, Luther Erickson of North Hollywood, Calif.; a sister Mildred Olson of Nevada, and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Howard, in 1963.

Funeral services are pending at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada.
