MRS. RUSSELL BIRNEY

Mrs. Russell Birney, 48, wife of a farmer northwest of Ames, died Friday at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames.

Her maiden name was Tena Ingerson and she was born on a farm near Nevada.

She leaves in addition to her husband and one daughter, Virginia, her mother, Mrs. Sophia Ingerson and five sisters and two brothers.

The sisters are Mrs. Sarah Holder of Nevada, Mrs. Hallie Riggs, Mrs. Leota Pond and Mrs. Carrie Nighsonger of near Nevada, and Mary Campbell of Cedar Rapids, while the brothers are Glen Ingerson of Nevada and Clifford Ingerson, now serving in the U.S. Marines.
