Mrs. L. L. Davis dead at 89

Mrs. Lena L. Davis, 89, Nevada, died late Thursday* in the Gilmore Nursing Home.

Mrs. Davis was born Feb. 31, 1876 in Oklahoma, and had been a Nevada resident for about 40 years.

She is survived by two sons, Ross and Woodrow, both of Nevada; a daughter, Mrs. Charles O'Donnell, Nevada; eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday from the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with burial in the Nevada cemetery.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Lena Louise (Collins) Davis died on 27 May 1965. The 1925 census gives her place of birth as Kansas rather than Oklahoma.
