LORI ANN SHALLEY
Lori Ann Shalley, 26, of Albia IA, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 1986, in an auto accident near Lovilla in Monroe county IA.
She was born Sept. 24, 1960, at Rochester MN to William H. and Beverley A. (Tjelmeland) Shalley.
She was educated in the Nevada IA shcools and graduated from Nevada High School in 1979 and from Simpson College at Indianola IA in 1983.
She had never married.
Miss Shalley was a fourth grade teacher and girls' basketball coach and assistant volleyball coach in the Albia School System.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Nataional Education Assn. and Iowa Teachers Assn. and of the Rainbow Girls in Nevada.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, at the United Methodist Church in Nevada with Rev. William Ballard officiating. Interment was in Nevada Cemetery.
Survivors include two brothers, William "Bill" Shalley of Kansas City MO, and Donald Martin Shalley of Iowa City IA, and her parents, William and Beverly Shalley.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Douglas Shalley.
Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, 5th St. and Lincoln Hwy., Nevada, was n charge of arrangements. Visitaion was beld at the funeral home Sunday, Nov. 16.
