William Fudge died Thursday

William A. Fudge, 82, Nevada, died yesterday at 6:15 p.m. in the Story County Hospital where he had been a patient for the past two months.

He was born Oct. 20, 1881, in Madison County and was a resident of Story County the past 40 years. He was married to Clara VanGundy, Feb. 21, 1904 at Winterset. He was a member of the Nevada Methodist Church, Nevada and is survived by his wife, two daughters, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services will be Monday from the Ryan Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. James Dendler officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
