Miss Fantz died today

Miss Ruth Fantz, 84, Nevada, died this morning at 2 a.m. at the Story County Hospital in Nevada. She was admitted to the hospital Sunday morning and had been in failing health for the past four months.

Born March 7, 1879 in Carlock, Ill. she had been a resident of Nevada for 64 years. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church of Nevada.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Catherine Rogers of Des Moines as well as three nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. form Ryans funeral home in Nevada with the Rev. Frank C. Ladky officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
