Belle Henrehan funeral Friday

Mrs. Belle Henrehan, 82, Nevada, died in Story County hospital at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday. A victim of failing health for the past two and a half years, Mrs. Henrehan had been a patient there for the past week.

Mrs. Henrehan was born in Story County, Aug. 16, 1878 and married Thomas J. Henrehan in Nevada in 1906. She was a member of Nevada Methodist church, Rebekah lodge and Soroptimist club.

Survivors include a son, Phillip, of Iowa City; a sister, Bessie Hass, Nevada and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, who died in 1939; a sister and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at Ryan Funeral Home chapel in Nevada at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Nevada Memorial cemetery.
