Harold Andrew; Accident Victim; Buried Thursday

Funeral rites for Harold Eugene Andrew, 25, one of the Nevada young men who died from injuries received in a motor car accident on No. 65, near Midvale, early Tuesday morning, were held at the Methodist Episcopal church, here, Thursday afternoon at 4:30.

Services for Carl Hilleman, Andrew's companion on the fatal automobile trip, had been held two hours before at a local chapel and body had been taken to State Center for burial.

The altar of the church and the casket were literally banked with flowers from relatives and friends of the deceased.

Services sere n charge of Dr. R. Shipman of Des Moines.

HAROLD EUGENE ANDREW

Harold Eugene Andrew, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Andrew of 1361 Lincoln avenue, who met a tragic death in a motor car accident early today was born at Belle Plaine, Iowa, December 20, 1914.

Harold came with his parents to Nevada in 1924 and attended the Nevada schools, graduating with the class of 1929. He attended Iowa State college for a short time, after which he went to Drake University, where he spent two years.

Both in high school and college he distinguished himself as an athlete, being a member of ther Varsity freshman team at Drake.

For the past few years, he had bee an home assisting his father and brother in the operation of their tourist park on East Lincoln way.

He leaves besides his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. P. W. Andrew, a brother Hubert W. Andrew and a sister Mrs. Helen Greenlee of Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Greenlee had been out from Chicago to spend the Fourth of July holiday and had left for their home just a few hours before news of the tragedy reached the home.

He was popular young man and had many friends in the city who will sincerely mourn his untimely death.

The funeral will be held probably Thursday afternoon at the Methodist Episcopal church, after which the body will be laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery.
