Theroy S. Wierson, 93, of Story City died of pneumonia Wednesday at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City, with the Revs. Rolfe Johnstad and Stephen Anenson officiating. Burial will be at the Story City Cemetery.

Theroy S. Wierson was born in Story City on June 8, 1902, to Sam and Emily (Erickson) Wierson. Mr. Wierson married Emma Fardal on May 25, 1938. Mr. Wierson farmed near Story City from 1951 to 1975. He was a member of St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City.

Survivors include his wife; one brother, John Wierson of Story City; and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Wierson was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be Friday at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City with the family present after 3 p.m.
