B. J. Horner died Sunday
Benjamin J. Horner, 57, Grand Rapids, Minn., died Sunday morning at University Hospitals, Minneapolis, after an illness of about 6 months.
Mr. Horner is survived by his father, James Horner, Highland, Kan.; his mother, Mrs. Flossie Reid, Grand Rapids, Minn.; a son, Robert Horner of Janesville, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. Janet Ness, Story City; three brothers, Tom, also of Grand Rapids, William of Duluth, Minn. and Fred Horner, 412 East Second St.; and five sisters, Mrs. Arvid Thomas of Highland, Kan., Mrs. Artha Erickson, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Eunice Thormas, Lincoln Way Trailer Park, Mrs. Thelma Shultz, 722 Crawford Ave., and Mrs. Wilma Keigley, Washington.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from St. Petri Lutheran Church, Story City, with the Rev. Rhuben Aga officiating. Burial will be in Story City Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City, until time for services.
