Plan rites for Hazel A. Koons

Hazel A. Koons, 75, 1213 Grand Ave., died at Mary Greeley Hospital about 12:05 a.m. Friday.

She was born here Sept. 25, 1889 and was a lifelong resident of Ames.

She was employed with the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. from 1907 until 1932 when she retired.

She is survived by a sister, Norma J. Koons, 1232 Grand Ave.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday from the Adams Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Russell Pate, pastor of the United Church of Christ Congregational, officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
