Obituary for Osmond M. Larson

Osmond M. Larson was born July 23, 1927 to Osmond L. and Cerena (Westvold) Larson in Ames, Iowa. Osmond married Dorothy Mitchell on August 28, 1947. He worked as a fork lift driver at John Deere and retired in 1975. Osmond was a member of Palestine Lutheran Church and enjoyed collecting tractors, antiquing and traveling.

Osmond M. Larson, 85, of Nevada, passed away February 8, 2013 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames at 85 years of age.

Osmond is survived by his wife, Dorothy Larson of Nevada; his son, David (Mary) Larson of Chandler, Arizona; his daughter, Joyce (Pat) Dennis of Huxley; his daughter-in-law, Rebecca Larson of Huxley; his sister, Anna Henryson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Donald Larson; and two brothers, Lawrence Larson and Seward Larson.

Memorials may be designated to Palestine Lutheran Church.
