Mrs. Synneda Jacobson Died This Morning at Story City Hospital

Story City, Oct. 5--Mrs. Synneda Jacobson, age 66, died at the Story City Hospital this morning at 6:30 where she was taken yesterday. She was the widow of A. H. Jacobson who passed away many years ago. She was born in Norway but came to this country when a young girl. She lived a short while at Decorah and some time on a farm west of Story City. Most of her life was spent in Story City.

She is survived by one son, Theorory, two step children, Mrs. Tillie Johnson of Des Moines, and Anna Jacobson of Story City; also one brother John Theun of Canada and one sister in Norway.

Funeral arrangements are awaiting word from the brother in Canada.

Funeral for Story City Woman on Saturday

Story City, Oct. 6--Funeral services for the lat Mrs. Synneva Jacobson, 66, who passed away at the hospital in Story City Thursday morning will be held in Story City on Saturday.

A short prayer service at the home at 1:30 will be folloed at 2 p.m. with services in St. Petri's Luthern church with Rev. S. T. Nelson officiating.

Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.
