OBITUARY

L. O. Jacobson was born at Gilbert Iowa December 10, 1881. His parents were Jacob H. Jacobson and Sarah Olson Jacobson.

He was married to Nellie C. Jacobson on July 15, 1908. To this union three children were born - Pearl Leneve Erickson, Springfield, Ill., Leslie Kermit Jacobson, Clarinda, Iowa; Eunice Adalade Kacalek, St. Paul, Minn., nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He attended Luther College, Decorah and Highland Park College in Des Moines where he studied telegraphy. He was the telegrapher at Story City in 1907 and 1908.

Mr. Jacobson farmed near Roland, Iowa and at Wolford, North Dakota fter which he returned to Story City and was associated with Story City National Bank. He was the manager of the Farmers Elevator for 17 years, retiring in 1943.

He suffered a stroke on June 8, 1967 and died August 9, 1969.
