STORY CITY PIONEER DIES

(Special to Evening Times.)
Story City, Dec. 19--Andrew Jacobson died at his home here Sunday evening after a lingering illness lasting nearly two years. Mr. Jacobson has at times been able to be up and around until a couple of weeks ago when he suffered a paralytic stroke. Since that time he has gradually been failing until Sunday evening death relieved his sufferings.

Mr. Jacobson was 74 years of age at his death, and was one the pioneers in this part of the county. he lived for a number of years on a farm three miles south of here, but moved into town twelve years ago. he was employed by the C. & N. W. railroad for seventeen years as a bridge foreman.

He leaves to mourn his death five children, Mrs. A. N. Harmon, Hampton; Mrs. Neles Donhowe, Miss Olive Jacobson, Albert, Gilbert and H. A. of this place.

The funeral servicds will be held Wednesday at two o'clock from the St. Petri church.
