Services Friday for Mrs. Henderson

Mrs. Melinda Henderson, Story City, died Tuesday afternoon at Story City Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. C. A. Gisselquist officiating. Burial will be in Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Henderson, the daughter of Paul J. and Martha Holland Henderson was born Sept 5, 1890 east of Story City. She and Harry K. Henderson married June 16, 1915, farmed near the Story City community until they retired and moved to Story City.

Mrs. Henderson had been a resident of Story City Bethany Manor since Feb. 16, 1970.

Survivors include a son, Melbourne, Story City; a daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Redling, Jewell; three grandsons, three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, four brothers a son and her husband.

The body will lie in state at the Soderstrum Larson Funeral Home, Story City.
