A. O. Severeid Dies at Story City Home

STORY CITY, June 25.--A. O. Severeid, 77 years old pioneer resident of this place, the father of George Severeid of Ames, died Saturday morning at his home here. He had been in ill health for several years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at the home, and at 2 o'clock at the Immanuel church.

Mr. Severeid, a retired blacksmith, had lived here for nearly 40 years. He is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Oliver Alsager of Story City, Mrs. William Hastings of Elkader, Mrs. Inger White, and Helen Severeid, both of Des Moines, and two sons, George of Ames, and Hans of Newell, Pa.
